Gus Evans Nurseries have been growing quality plants on the Kapiti Coast since 1983. Our huge range and friendly advice make us the first stop for the landscape pro to the weekend dabbler, and every type of gardener in between.
Our Plants
Our Waikanae nursery is stocked to the hilt with an ever-changing selection of ornamental plants, New Zealand natives, perennials, trees and shrubs. Most of our plants are grown from cuttings or seedlings, so by the time you get them they're well used to the region's unique – some would say challenging – growing conditions.
Like the people who tend them, our plants are a hardy bunch and love living on Wellington's Sunshine Coast. Growing plants from scratch also helps us to keep prices down.
Gus Evans Nurseries offers a huge range of ornamental, native and perennial plant varieties , ranging in size from 5cm tubes to 20 litre tubs. We supply landscape designers, councils, garden centres and home gardeners. We now also have a good range of annuals in 6 pack punnets. At certain times of the year we also have vege plants.

Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm
Saturday - 9am - 2.30 pm
Sunday - By appointment
